North Baddesley Men's Shed

Many Men's Sheds have been set up in the UK since the movement became popular in Australia in the 1990's. The opportunity is now available in North Baddesley to join other Men’s Shed members that are from a wide variety of working backgrounds to work on practical projects and to serve the community.

The Baddesley Men's Shed provides its members with the shared knowledge of other like minded individuals to discuss projects of their own choosing at their own pace and in a safe, friendly and inclusive venue.

We meet in the North Baddesley Village Hall in a room that forms a larger version of a typical man’s shed – a place to feel at home and pursue practical interests.

The Shed’s activities will include making or mending in wood and metal and country building crafts. It is intended the facilities will also enable members to undertake bicycle repair, gardening, electronics, tool renovation, model engineering and re-use/up-cycling of household items.

The Shed aims to provide practical help, guidance and knowledge to others in the local community such as The Village Hall, schools, charities and community groups.

The Shed may also offer such things as a free advisory service to those seeking employment for the first time or returning to work by helping with their interview and presentation skills using the members work experiences.

The members are people who support the work of the shed and meet the following requirements:

Read and agree to the Sheds constitution and Rules.

Be a Minimum age of 18 years

Normally reside or work within North Baddesley and surrounding areas.

Are nominated and voted for at a shed meeting.

If you wish to attend a meeting or to find out more about the group without obligation please email:
