North Baddesley Men's Shed
The Trustees have put a robust plan of action for the reopening of North Baddesley Men's Shed.
Many Men's Sheds have been set up in the UK since the movement became popular in Australia in the 1990's.
The opportunity is now available in North Baddesley to join other Shed members from a wide variety of working backgrounds to work on practical projects and to serve the community.
The Baddesley Men's Shed provides its members with the shared knowledge of other like minded individuals to discuss and work on projects in a friendly venue.
We meet in the North Baddesley Village Hall in a room that forms a larger version of a typical shed – a place to feel at home and pursue practical interests.
The Shed’s include making or mending in wood and metal. The members also undertake bicycle repair, gardening, electronics, tool renovation, model engineering and re-use/up-cycling of household items.
We provide practical help, guidance and knowledge to others in the local community such as The Village Hall, schools, charities and community groups.
The members who have read and agreed to the Sheds constitution and rules support the work of the shed. They reside within North Baddesley and surrounding areas and have been nominated and voted in at a shed meeting.
